While the article appears in PC Magazine, note that the writer works with a rumor site so I’m taking the whole article with a grain of salt.
I’m sure FCP 6 will be introduced, but as far as the actual specs of it we’ll just have to wait till April 15

I actually just sold some technology to Apple for editing in a 3D environment similar to Minority Report. But Apple (although they gave me a LOT of money…) said they’d hold off until v7 because as of now, I could only get YouTube quality video to show up on the HUD of the Canvas and Viewer windows.
Although – because of the glove you are forced to wear, coffee is out of the question. Maybe they also know too many coffee drinking editors.
Oh well… we’ll see.

First, the number one stalwart of journalistic integrity, The New York Times, prints Judith Miller’s propagandapeices about the war in Iraq. Now, PC Magazine prints dribble from a guy who writes for a rumor site. If we don’t keep a close watch on things, the next thing you know we’ll all find out the government’s been lying to us. Heaven forbid that should ever happen…
