    We have digitized footage using the DVCProHD 720p30 Codec. FCP is displaying the timecode as 60 fps in the source monitor. Why would it display the timecode in 60 frames if we have shot and digtized the footage at 30 fps. Suggestions.

    Because DVCPRO HD on tape is always 60fps. The camera will flag it at either 60p, 30p or 24p. If you captured at 30p you should notice some missing numbers. FCP didn’t capture all of them…making your footage 30p.
