Hi, I’m working with ten individual clips and am trying to edit them together on the fly using the multiclip feature in FCP. I’ve named each clip angle “angle 1, angle 2” etc. They all sync by their in point. I selected all the angles and then chose make multiclip in the pulldown menu. Then I double clicked on the multiclip I created to put it in the viewer window in multiclip viewing format. When I press play all the angles play, but when I click on a specific angle it causes them to stop playing. What am I doing wrong. Or is there a bug fix in a later version of FCP. I’m using 5.04.
    Thanks,
    Danny

Put the multiclip into a sequence. Double click the multiclip to load it into the viewer from the sequence. In the viewer click the middle button at the top and select ‘open’. Click on your sequence again to make it active. Play your sequence and select your angles from the viewer as it plays.

Thanks Matt, that along with changing the keyboard option worked perfectly. I owe you!
