  How do a use an .STL file??

  For a current project, there is some subtitling work being done for us. they have returned with a .stl file. Saying this imports into FCP.

  How do I go about using this file to create subtitles over footage that I have?

  You dont import STL files into Final Cut.

  You import STL files into DVD Studio Pro for subtitling purposes.
