    Hi,

I have someone who is using FC Express HD for their editing. I am creating some effects in Motion 2 and wondering if they could intergrate it with FC Express HD like I can with FC Pro. Or is my only option to save it down as a quicktime movie, with the animation codec for including the alpha.

I can do it, but I have both FCE and Motion loaded on the same machine. If you don’t have Motion installed the project will not be recognized and will not import. You’ll have to export with Animation if you need the alpha channel.

    All the best,

    Tom

    Hi,

Just a minor one… are there any major differences between what the final cut pro app can do and final cut express?
