    Hi,
could anybody tell me the right procedure how to import dvcpro50 anamorphic (PAL) footage from final cut to after effects? I have rendered the footage from fcp using the dv50 codec. Then I used the enterpret footage setting: HDV 1080/DVCPRO 720 (1:33). In the composition settings I set the pixel aspect ratio to dv PAL. Then I had to scale the footage down to make it fit in the frame. It looks sort of ok, but it can’t possibly be right?
very grateful for any help as I am very confused!

the original footage was dvcpro50 anamorphic (PAL 25p.), so DV i guess..
I have used final cut to edit the material and now I want to move it to after effects to add some animation…

The problem is that when i import the footage, it shows up streched (not anamorphic) in after effects.
should have said that in the first post!
