  Pasting clips

  I copy a clip to use in another part of the timeline, but the clip always pastes on the same video layer. Is there a shortcut to paste on a different video layer?

  Use the autoselect buttons to change track the clip gets pasted to. If you don’t do anything it pastes to the same track it came from, otherwise the buttons let you select the track. It will paste to the lowest autoselected track. Option-click to pick one track and solo autoselect it.
