changing 29.97 tp 23.98
if i accidentally captured 23.98 footage as 29.97 whats the best way to convert it. Recapture? Recompress?

We did the same on a recent feature I edited.
Go to view-cinema tools and on cinema tools click reverse telecine and choose, your weapon so to speak, 23.98.

I’m going to guess recapture, though I’m not sure.

Well it was shot with the DV 100 and captured using DV NTSC mode in final cut. The footage frame rate is now 29.97 and I am getting artifacts and interlace issues. So I guess I need to use cine tools or something to fix this problem so I can edit on a 24 sequence. Never use this program before however, so im not all to familiar with it.
