I was shooting DV @ 30P on a HVX200 NDF, digitizing to an MacBookPro 2.33/G-Tech FW800 drive, latest OS & FCS software.
I logged the footage and tried to batch capture and the “Warning – about to cature NDF media to a DF clip came up.

I checked the clip properties and they were NDF. The footage would digitize an edit via capture now.

(And this is why we all love this industry) The next day I tried the process over again and was able to log and capture the same footage just fine. However, the originally logged footage, when I tried to digitize that , still produced the warning screen.

    Gremlins?

    Cheers

If you’re set to capture 29.97 DV, then it will capture DF.

Not necessarily. I capture NDF DV all the time.
