Q: can i view video track 1 in one veiwer and video track 2 in another?

i have a video that was taped on 2 cameras. one tape is clip1 the other is clip 2. i synced the clips up to the audio and now i would like to see what both cameras are looking at so i know when to hide clip 1 to show clip2. i don’t really care if they both play during playback but as long as i can see it while scrubbing.

    thanks

search the manual for Multi-Cam editing. There are a whole bunch of features built in to FCP for this type of application.

is a great basic description of multi-cam setup by Dean Sensui. It’ll get you started, though I WOULD read the manual first.
