wrong frame rate/bad P2 import
I’ve imported several clips shot with the panasonic 200 and one of the clips picture was sped up with regular speed audio and incomplete. It played ok in the import preview window.
In FCP 5.1 the item properties say its 24.98 not 29.97 like the other clips. Does anyone know how it got corrupted and if it can be repaired?

Are you sure you didn’t change the settings for the last clip? Most likely not, but just checking.
You can copy it back to the card and repair it in the camera. Look in the manual for how to do that.

Sorry to trouble you but I can’t figure out how to copy the clip back to the camera. It wont let me.

You’ll have to drag the entire CONTENTS folder and LASTCLIP.txt file back to a P2 card. Then isolate that clip and repair it. Dang I wish I had the camera to play with. But alas, I am just the editor.

It wont let me copy it to the card. Because there is already a file named contents even though I deleted the card. I was afraid to the throw the card contents folder in the trash even though it’s empty. I didn’t know if it would hurt the card. I’ll try it anyway.
The camera has a pretty nice image but I have a lot of grain in the background. Almost like we shot with the gain up even though we didn’t and It was a large project with two cameras, we lost some important footage in the process of transfering as we were shooting. In hind sight I think I would have shot on tape.
