  Cartoon Effect

  I read somewere that in FCP 5.1.2 there was a build in effect to make the video look like a cartoon.
  I just upgraded and for the life of me I can not find this effect. Can anyone help?

  Sounds like a plug-in. FCP does not do this natively unless there is a combination of filters that can achieve.

  Boris Continuum Complete includes a Cartooner filter.

  There are several plugs that do this, there’s a discussion on kenstone.net right now on this, and tutorials right here in the AE section.

  Stylize > Vectorize Color is about the best you can do.

  Thanks, I tried their demo. It’s effect is to crude. I need something more refined.
