FLASH to FINAL CUT to BROADCAST
Anyone use flash to do photo and text animations for broadcast?
I ‘ve havent done this in a year and cant for the life of me remember how I dealt with the square pixel / rectangle pixel issue.
Basically its a stiil photo with animated text and logo. We are doing it enitrely in Flash and layback the audio in FCP.
In Flash we out put as a Jpeg sequence. (720×486)
In Final Cut we have the sequence settings set to
1) 720×486
2) pixel NTSC CCIR 601
3) Feild Dominance None
4) 29.97
5) Phot Jpeg @100%The only issue is that afer I render the timeline the text and logo look like dung on the pc monitor but looks fine on an NTSC monitor (piped through the firewire deck)I know this is a pixel aspect issue becasue when I set the settings to square…it looks fine and I dont need to render. In the end I am sending this to a post house to dump on onto digibeta and then broadcast but I want to send the correctly formatted file.
Is there a trick that I’m missing to appease both worlds??
Thnx in advance
