So i’m editing a project that DVCPRO HD in final cut, I have an aja kona lh card. So i have this project DVCPRO HD at 23.98. I need to put it on a digi beta tape. I have the second output of my kona connected to the Digi Beta with a downconvert on it. I have control of the deck. But i keep getting this incredibly annoying noise and no picture. any thoughts?

Have you set up the downconvert settings in the AJA Control Panel?

i have set up the aja so the video output that is going into the digi beta input, is downcoverted to 720×486 29.97. I have control of the deck, but everytime i try to lay off the sequence it tells me that the device i’m trying to input to is a different resolution and wont let me do it. I obviously know it’s a different resolution and i’ve set up the downconvert how can i get final cut to realize this and go ahead with the lay off.
