  DVCPRO HD to mini dv conversion

  Hi, I have some DVCPRO HD 720p 60 media that I want to downconvert to minidv. I exported some clips to Quicktime and chose the DV ntsc codec: 720 x 480. I set the aspect ratio to 16:9. I then imported the new clip into a regular 4:3 dv ntsc sequence and the footage showed up letterboxed like I wanted. It looks fine on the computer screen, but on my ntsc monitor the images are slightly streched horizontally. It is acceptable looking and i could use it, but I was wondering if this was normal or if you could get it to look not streched at all.
