All,
In the process of uploading some of my stuff, I stumbled upon this

There’s also the Trail FCP plug-in, part of the Clone and Paint Collection ($49) from CHV:

Good finds, both of you. Unfortunately both apps seems to only allow straight line, no splines or curves, but better than nothing by a long shot.
