  Xgrade update

  Did the update and then updated to 5.1.2 & 10.4.8. A glitch though…

  My BCC filters do not show in updated timelines but do show in the effects editor.

  Also when I tried to export a QT of the timeline, I did not have the option as before with Audi and video and source. All that exports is audio.

  I’m confused a bit… can’t see filters in the clips in the sequence by double clicking the clips and then opening the effects tab in the Viewer? or?

  When you export QT, which way are you doing it? File/Export/QT movie? or File/Export/QuickTime Conversion?

  I do the former and usually when I do, the option for audio and video is the default. All I am doing is creating a self-contained FCP movie. After the Xgrade, my default is…

  okay just looked to see what I was being offered and now everything is fine with the QT export. Nothing changed for me. ??? Not sure what happened. I will still work on the BCC filters.

  There is an update specific to FCP 5.1.2 on the Boris site if you’re running the BCC 3 filters. Pay special attention to the instructions or they won’t work properly after installed.

  Walter, Thanks for the information. Installed the Boris update and made sure I followed the warning. ALL IS WELL!!
