  Audio Filters Help

  I am confused about what audio filter does what in FCP. I was curious to know if there were any resources, articles, online tutorials or other. that explain what filter is best used for what situation. I have tried to read the FCP Manual but it doesn’t give me enough infromation. Any ideas are welcomed. thanks. chris

  I think the descriptions in the manual are adequate, what’s lacking is the utility of most of those filters, they are either very difficult to fine tune or impossible. With a couple of exceptions I find them among the weakest features in FCP. Along with FCP’s text weakness, that and it’s audio filters are probably the main reasons we have LiveType and Soundtrack Pro.
