• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  FCP and After Effects problems loading

  Hello, I’ve been working in Final Cut and After Effects without a problem. Then last week both programs started having problems loading. It takes about 3 min. to load each program now.
  Once I’m actually in the program they both work fine, but if I click on anything other than the program, like finder or safari, it takes another 3 min. to get back into it.
  Other programs are still working fine, photoshop, DVD studio, ect.
  I’ve got 148 GB available on my OS drive, and am running 4.5 GB RAM.
  I’m running MAC OS X 10.4.8, and Final Cut 5.1.2.
  I’ve re-installed the OS, Final Cut and done the updates without luck.

  I’m using a MAC G5.
  4 X 2.5 Ghz PowerPC G5
  4.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM
