  round trip to “Motion” makes distort in motion?

  howdy how

  I have a DVCPRO50 16×9 seq. in which i have cut a number of stills of various shapes and sizes (all have DV pixel aspect ratio via photoshop)

  Having gotten approval of the stills, i have started to “round trip” them to motion to put slow zooms on them. my motion projects come up as DVCPRO50 16×9.

  BUT when i bring them back into FCP the are squashed hosizontally 33.33 and so i have to keep removeing attributes on the clips

  Why? Shouldnt the come back as normal ie 0 distortion? or is either fcp or motion thinking too much?

  please help me get my head around this
