  Waveform problem

  Hi, I’m having a problem with the visual waveform that appears in FCP not conforming with what is actually on the soundfile. The waveform seems to lag the real sound by a number of frames. I’m pretty sure the problem is not in the system but in the sound file, since it doesn’t happen to all the soundfiles… just the ones that come from a certain soundhouse. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can address it?
