  capture? solved …almost

  Because I’m new to this forum my previous post has not been posted just yet.
  I have partially solved my problem thanks to Jeremy’s fix re:Digitizer Missing…Unable to capture by phonymelon on Nov 2, 2006 at 11:21:16 pm
  Now I can see my video in the capture window but when I begin capturing the screen turns black and there is no preview of what is being captured. This results in a capture file that has a “-av” at the end of it that is unreadable and seems to bear no content. So close I can taste it!
  My settings now include, all frames and playback has allowed me to select NTSC firewire.
  What am I missing here?

  Problem solved thanks to threads I should have found earlier.
  First I trashed the Quicktime reciept files which brought me to this point then I trashed my preferances for final success. Great forum! thanks!
