  Capture? I can control camera from capture – still can’t see video?

  Hi anyone who can help out.
  I just upgraded to 5.1.2
  My issue right after my upgrade to 5.1.2 is: From my log and capture window I can actually control my camera and my computer can even identify the type of camera on the end of the firewire but I still see color bars and “preview disabled” in the capture screen. I’ve tried all the obvious things (i think) like view/external video/ all frames, pressing play and stop on the camera and restarting the program and even my computer. I even tried both a Sony PD 150 as well as a Panasonic HVX200 as a DV input though not HD . Under audio video settings my only video playback options are “none” and “Digital cinema desktop preview -main” . On my old version I also had an option for NTSC firewire which no longer appears the same way at least.
  Long winded but I wanted to save some guessing.
  Any assistance would be great!
