• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  FCP Update

  I am trying to update from FCP V.5.0.4 to V. 5.1.2 however the updater won’t allow it telling me the update is only for V. 5.1
  I have not been able to find this update. Can anyone point me to the update or tell me what I am doing wrong.

  You have to send your discs in to Apple along with $49 for the “universal binary” upgrade to 5.1, and then after installing you can update as usual to 5.1.2. If you don’t upgrade by December you’ll be stuck at 5.0.4 forever.
