  Final Cut 5.1.2 Capture problems!!!

  Hi everybody,
  I’m going crazy with the new relase of Final Cut Pro, the 5.1.2 that supports 720p24 HD format… Jvc Gy-hd100 and so on…
  I used the 720p24 easy setup but it has problems in capturing the footage from the camera.
  I starts good, but then It comes up with “searchin for media”,
  and the acquisition stops. It does it after 30 sec. circa.
  I’m not able to capture right now,
  I don’t know is someone knows about this problem…
  but thanks for any suggestion.

  You are not alone with this problem, I’m having the very same problems with the very same JVC deck and FCP 5.1.2, I have 3 FCP systems and I upgraded all to FCP 5.1.2 and now all systems are having the same problem since the upgrade. I got one system to work today but it only captures half of the clip, then it says “searching for media” in the capture window. Please let me know if you find any solution to this problem.
