  Problem capturing the footage

  Hi ,
  Currently I am editing an engagement video which was shot by someone on Sony PD-150.
  When I am capturing the footage it stops in about 5-7 seconds giving error
  ” Capture encountered a problem reading the data on your source tape. this could be due to a problem with the tape.
  Capture has been aborted and your clip has been saved”
  Does anyone have idea as what is possible the problem with the source?
