  Final Cut unexpectedly quits

  Hi All

  I have a new laptop with the latest version of FCP and OSX. Whenever I try to capture a clip, I hit capture now and when I hit escape, FC quits every time. I’ve tried setting my scratch discs to the desktop and to an external hard drive. Does anyone know what might be going on? Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give me with this.

  I’m having the exact same issue! Anyone know what’s going on??
  Could this be an issue with the new dual-intel laptop?
