  Subtitle HELP!!

  Hi Everybody,
  Hope you can help. I have a 2 hour video that I need to Subtitle. I’ve been given Timecode ##s and all the text and where it goes. Their are almost 1600 titles to do. Is their an easier way of doing this job then just copy and pasting at the Timecode ##s

  Whoops, DH has changed a few things.

  So now it should read…

  And there is an INEXPENSIVE ($20 !!) subtitle plug-in from Digital Heaven.

  No matter what you choose, you will still need to match the “script” to the audio.

  You should also make sure what you are doing:
  a. burned in subtitles for video
  b. user-selectable sbutitles for DVD
  c. user-selectable captions for video
  d. user-selectable captions for DVD

  They are all slightly different and doing one when you shoud have been doing another will mean a tremendous waste of time.

  Also, are you supplying video files are just the subtitles? It’s a very complex craft these days. These might help.

  You might also want to take a look at TitleExchangePro which allows automation of subtitle creation from an STL file:
