So here is my story… I have the HVX200 and I have the redrock M2 35mm lens adaptor – which flips the image upside-down, then I have the CitiDisk HD firewire drive attached to the camera capturing the footage. The CitiDisk HD is brand new and I have not yet figured out how to capture and transfer render-free footage into my timeline in FCP HD 5.1

Nothing I try will give me a render-free timeline. I have managed to do it before I flip the image, but once I rotate it 180 degrees, the dreaded render line appears.

    Please help!

    Thanks

Try flipping the image, then export a self contained QT movie of it… then import those files for render freeness…
