Still Struggling with Error 41
Surely someone out there must know the solution. My client has sent me a FCP project file. When I try and open it in my FCP system, I get a General Error 41 note and that’s it. The file fails to open. Any ideas on why this is happening? Of course, the only reason there is a problem is because there is a looming deadline.

You probably shouldn’t double post. If you do not see an answer to your first post, then probably no one knows the answer.
If this particular file will not open, then your client should send you another. If it’s working on his end, it should work on yours as long as you have the same FCP version. If he has a more advanced version of FCP, therein lies your problem.
