Can’t change font
Posted by John Barnard on September 25, 2006 at 11:32 pmAm I the only person who can’t change their font in the motion tab after clicking on a TEXT clip? What’s up with that?

September 25, 2006 at 11:36 pmI don’t understand what you are asking. Change your font where?
When I use text, I used Title 3D, and even if you used plain old TITLE the way to change the font is in the CONTROLS tab, not the motion tab.

September 25, 2006 at 11:48 pmHey, you’re fast.
Yeah, the control tab – that’s what I meant to say. In the little pulldown tab font thingie. I can’t change it.

September 26, 2006 at 2:58 amThis may be way off, but last year… I had a decklink card installed and experienced the same thing…couldn’t change the font from the default at all. Turns out I had to shut off the view out to NTSC monitor and the popup window was actually open just in the second monitor hidden hidden behind either the video ouput or black.
So, maybe this is the same…maybe not.. but try turning of your ntsc monitor output and see if it’s there.

September 26, 2006 at 8:30 amYes , I’ve got the same problem. Since a few weeks ago, using the old PLAIN TEXT, I can not chage the font. In the control tab I’ve got permanently Araial Black, and no way to chage it.
Salud,
RafaelPS: I,m in FC 5.0.4

September 26, 2006 at 1:42 pmThat’s totally what it was.
So long beloved video dektop. But really, there must be a way to have both working at the same time. Maybe I’ll post on the Blackmagic forum too.
