  Templating in FCP4

  Is there anyway to template pictures with motion and transitions, so in the future I can just change the pictures (resize them) and have the same motion and transition?

  You can make favorites of motion, transitions and filters. It would be helpful if you could be more specific about what you’re trying to do.

  Create a time with all the pictures and transitions you want. Name your pictures 001, 002, 003, etc (very important).

  For your next project, press shift D (make clips offline). make sure your new set of pictures are numbered the same way they are in your template.

  Reconnect your media. Render away.

  Make sure you rename your project each time.

  You can create a bin in your browser and drag your favorite transitions into the bin or just create another favorites folder in your effects tab.
