FCP launches at system startup
This is one of those things I feel silly not being able to figure out. But fcp just launches automatically when I start up my computer and I don’t want it to. It seems like I’ve looked everywhere for a preference that would tell it to do this, but I haven’t had any luck. I’ve been living with this little issue for like a year please help! 😉

Go into the System Preferences for OS X, not Final Cut.
Click on ‘ACCOUNTs’
If the lock on the bottom is locked, unlock it. Then click on the ‘Startup Items’ tab.
Is Final Cut in there? Get rid of it if it is. Hopefully this is the solution!

ohhh! Thank you!! I’ve looked here before and since it’s check box wasn’t checked I thought it wasn’t a log in item, but that just referrs to whether or not it’s hidden when you log in… thanks again!
