No Tab selection for fonts on the Text Generator
I added a lot of fonts today to the system, most of them TTF.
I had several problems after, but the only one that is still persisting is that I can not chance the font type tab on any of the plain text generator, I can do it on the Borix Text, but that’s not what I need.
How can I fix this.
I already open new projects, new sequences, restarted the system.Thank you

Well, I had too many fonts installed, I just deactivated all the new ones and is working fine.

IMHO, there is never a time to seriously consider using the “native” FCP text generators.
I always use the included Title3D or TitleCrawl (or even text generated in Phoptoshop.)

I agree with Matte on this one, but if you’ve got to use the built-in text generator, try clearing out your prefs and maybe even your cache for FCP and then restart FCP. Sometimes that works. (If you haven’t already done that.)

There is some hidden limit to to number of fonts the basic text tool can deal with. I ran into this on 4.5. However I echo the other posts. Boris is far superior to the basic text tool, even for the simple stuff. Just try it for a few days and you wont go back.
