SEEMS TO BE MY DAY FOR ISSUES

I do graphics for a football show. The grahics in question here are in Title 3d. Basically they are team names team vs team. There are many schools. So that I don’t have to keep typing the name over and over, I just save the team name in a bin so I can just call it up and place it on the background. But when I have a new team that hasn’t been saved, I call up a name, place it on the timeline, change the name to the needed one. But when I try to drag the name to the bin with the other names, it takes the same name as the one I used as a template. It doesn’t matter if i change the name in the bin. How do I use a saved name, change it and save it keeping the new name?

Have you tried duplicating it first and then making the changes in Title3d to the copy? Just a thought.
