  timeline scrolling

  why is it that when I scroll through the footage on my timeline or in my viewer window, the footage does not scroll. I remains frozen at the image the I paused it at. This does not happen all the time, only occasionaly.

  The timeline doesn’t scroll. That’s what your subject line is about.
  Your post is about something else entirely. Do you mean scrolling as in scanning? Are you trying to pull the playhead along?

  the most common explanation for improper scrolling is you’ve got your media on your system hard drive.
