Final Cut not rendering
I created some titles in Keynote that I exported as a self-contained quicktime movie (I used the H.264 codec) When I import it into final cut pro (version 5.0.1) I set up my sequence settings to be the same frame size as my quicktime file from keynote and under quicktime video settings I have it set to H.264 as the compressor. When I place the file on the timeline it shows that the video needs to be rendered so I go to sequence render selection and render the video as full (or i’ll hit command R) the render video box comes up for about half a second and then leaves just as it would if it rendered the video but my clip still says unrendered if I try to play in the timeline the window says unrendered. If I switch the sequence settings to use a different compressor then it will render the clip but whenever I have it as H.264 it doesn’t render and won’t play in the timeline. Why won’t it render my clip in the timeline with those settings? Since this is for web I will be exporting it using the H.264 codec.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
