    Hi All,

I’ve got a programme with several clips that have speed changes, all rendered. The edits were done on G5s. I’ve now transfered the edit to my MacBookPro and am trying to insert shot to the timeline. When the shots move up though they keep the the cached render files in the same place so when played the shots displayed are not in time with the clips on the timeline.

I’ve tried using the ‘Select all tracks forward’ tool, cut and paste (which requires a re-render – something i don’t really want to have to do), or just a move and that doesn’t cure it either.

Has anyone else come across this? What do I do?

    Regards

I’m a relatively new user, and I have also seen this happen when changing clips that have dissolve transitions. I would end up with playback that has jumps during a dissolve.

I had simply resigned myself to deleting render files and re-rendering the small section I’m working on.

I wonder if there is a way to change this behavior.
