    Hi there,

does anyone know whether Compressor will handle superwhite video properly? Or do such files need to be corrected elsewhere first — for example some DV footage brought in by firewire — can I use Compressor to transcode these files to another format without clipping whites?

As a corollary question: will FCP’s “Recompress” function in Media Manager preserve superwhites properly? It doesn’t seem to, when converting DV to OfflineRT for example, so I’m wondering what workaround there might be. I want to convert a whole DV project to PhotoJPEG at 75%, using the RT Software Enabler hack found elsewhere on this board.
