  Exporting QT– What Codec? Animation imported from dvcam Deinterlacing Problems

  Greetings.

  Please help!

  g5
  fcp 5.1.1
  exporting animation but it was imported at 29.97 720 X 480

  having delinterlacing problems.

  have tried the following codecs:

  from QT conversion:
  animation
  blackmagic 10 bit
  dvdvcpro ntsc
  h .264

  from export QT:
  blackmagic dv 10 bit

  looks jaggedy.

  Was the animation deinterlaced before it was recorded to DVCAM? if so there’s not much you can do but re export from the animation program without the deinterlacing done I’d think.
