  render just stops

  Hello,

  Has anyone ever had a render just STOP before it was finished…without ANY error messages? The work area is there…the render settings are to render only work area.

  Puzzling.

  Yes I’m on a PC…sigh…the movie has been rendered before, many times to an external MAXTOR 160GB…its (the movie)only 40MB or so. I’ve eliminated the layers at the point where the movie stops rendering…same problem. ???????

  I trashed my AE user pref’s…it worked.
