    I have a VideoCube that I haven’t turned on in over a year…

    The first Turn-Key Non-linear system.

I would never be able to get much money for it selling on eBay…

So I’d like to donate it to a museum or some charitable group where I could take a tax charitable donation deduction.

Is there a Video museum or group that would like a working unit?

    thanks

For the heck of it, have you tried Googling “Video Museum” or “TV Museum” or “Television Museum?” Thought it might be a good starting point.

There is a museum of moving images in NYC…don’t know if this is anything they would be after…but worth a shot.

Ahhh…Video Cube. Like my first car I have fond memories of that system…and nightmares. I remember pulling my first all-nighter. The show had to go out the next day. Around 7am the next day the media drive locked up. Everything was lost & 2 hours away from mastering. Show never was completed…ahh, the Video Cube.

Maybe you could start a video museum. Get a Toaster, TAO Editizer & a few others. When we all get frustrated we could come over and remember what it was like before FCP. Fargo sounds like a cool place for something like that.
