quicktime to final cut pro settings
i looking for settings to use in quicktime pro 7 to export to final cut pro 4 or something better.
i’ve created quite a mess… i was working on a final cut project when my foot tipped my external drive over (no, i do not have a backup), from there it seems my drive is hosed. i’m having a 2nd person looking at the drive now. the only remaining element from that project i have is a rough 320×240 quicktime movie… my idea is to export this from quicktime using a larger size 720×480, importing that file into final cut and finishing the project which is due in 1 day. i’ve tried this and final cut cannot recognize the quicktime file. i’ve also tried importing the low rez movie into final cut and scaling to 175% which works, but the file exported from quicktime looks a little better than the scaling in final cut.
i’m looking for advice in getting a 320×240 size movie to a 720×480 size movie that can be imported into final cut pro.thank you,
thad (who will be backing up everything from now forward… lesson learned)
