    I have been using it, and it works adequately for 10-bit 1080 60i, although I’m not quite getting the throughput that the AMUG review shows.

    If you want Western Digital drives, only their RE edition models work with port-multiplied RAID.

    I’m using it, it was a run around at first. I had old firmware for the SI chips that were on the multiports I bought. I saved a few bucks but what a pain it was! I have 8 500 gig Hitachi SATA II’s running. No problems with 8 or 10 bit uncompressed or DVCPro HD.
