  HDV Issues

  I am running a quad 2.5 g5 with 4 gigs of ram. I dumped some HDV footage off of a Sony FX-1 camera. The video plays fine in the preview window, but once I throw it into the timeline it all needs to be rendered. I went to the easy setup and set it to HDV 1080i60. Shouldn’t I be able to work with this footage in real time?

  Did you create a new sequence after the easy set up because doing a easy set up douse not effect sequences that have already been made. Check the settings for the sequence you are trying to put the video on.
