  m2v conversion

  I don’t use the Mac very much for editing, but I’d like to upgrade my FCP4.5 to 5.

  My SD m2v workflow has been 10b uncompressed to m2v via QT conversion. This has always given me very clean m2vs compared with many experiments with Compressor, which has given changes in levels, gamma and very tatty graphics. My progs are graphics intensive I should add.

  Has anyone any suggestions for getting clean m2vs from FCP5 now that Apple, in their wisdom, have removed the ‘export via QT conversion’ option.

  Am I doing something seriously wrong with this ‘Professional’ application – Compressor.
