  • Convert NTSC to PAL in Cinema Tools

I’m editing a DV feature right now, which I edited NTSC, and we’re dealing with a distributor that wants to shop the movie around in foreign markets, so they’re asking for a PAL Digibeta master.

I’ve looked through the manual and I haven’t found anything about this. Is it possible to convert a project edited in NTSC to a PAL framerate in Cinema Tools?

    Thanks in advance.

No. Cinema tools is used to remove pulldown from telecined footage & to match 29.97 TC back to 24fps film. It has absolutely nothing to do with format conversions.

Take a look at Nattress Standards Converter for $100. Nattress.com. Or have a post house with a Terranex box convert it for you when they make the DigiBeta.
