Multiclip audio solution needed
Preface this with the fact that I’m using FC Studio HD and haven’t had time to learn all the intracacies of Soundtrack/FCP yet. . . I have a 2 angle multiclip created. Clip A has (R)ight & (L)eft general audio from a wedding reception, clip B has the same general audio on one channel and the other channel has the audio from a wireless mic. I can edit the video to the best angle, but I really want to find a way to take the audio from say angle B and merge the R & L channels to create a combined R & L audio that has the general audio and wireless mic audio on each channel. Any clear suggestions on how to accomplish this? Do I create a sequence with clip B only and export the audio to an audio file (what format?) and then import that audio, synch it with the multiclip video? Will that exported file still have R & L channels that are not mixed? It is important they are mixed since I don’t want general audio coming out of one speaker and and the mic audio coming out of a separate speaker on playback. The answer might be a bit involved, but I would really appreciate suggestions, I’m on a deadline and out of ideas.
