Shoot a book opening and have the page you open to be GREEN (the lite keyable green) then use that green screen to key in your video.

    Just a thought.

Well, if you do this “old school”…
    you need a BOOK.

Go to a used book store and find something that looks the part.

You can create a good-looking cover for the book in photoshop and print it and affix it to your chosen book.

Inside, affix green or blue (chroma-key color) construction paper to a double-truck set of pages.

Set the book in an approriate setting and shoot it as someone slowly opens it to the chroma-key colored pages, and the camera zooms in.

You’d then chroma-key the first scene or titles inside the book as it opens.

I guess we’re BOTH “old school”.

Yeah, “new school” would have you creating a CG book and accompanying alpha.

    use this instead

sort of takes the originality, learning curve and imagination out of the project, don’t you think?

The fairytale never comes true anyway. Be original, leave out the cliche and instead open with a statistic about current divorce rates.
