I just edited a movie in the PAL 48 KHZ setting and now i have been trying to export it as a self contained ntsc 48 khz movie.

when the self contained film is made, the audio is very jumpy and out of sync and it cuts the film a few minutes short, i never had this problem before because i edited other films on the pal settings and i exported it as ntsc perfectly fine, any ideas of what the problem may be???

Try the conversion in Compressor. It’s in the “advanced format conversions”. Or the Nattress plugin will render a lot faster: https://www.nattress.com

I found another app to do this. it’s called ‘jes deinterlacer’. it’s free and does lots of useful conversions quite fast. look for it in versiontracker.
